Tod The Bunny 3/3/22 Exhibition
The Great Hill: Is a magical place where Tod the Bunny comes from. At the top of the Great Hill is an orange flower with mystical powers. This is where Tod sets off on his Great Adventure. This piece was created using acrylic and aerosol paint on wood, alternating between a total of 7 layers of epoxy resin. There are real pressed flowers and a silver foil signature.
Leaving The Great Hill: Leaving the Great Hill was the start of a lifelong quest to explore the world and see new places. Tod travels in his enchanted air balloon and is headed to San Francisco. This piece was created on a laser-engraved wooden cutout of a Muni bus. This piece was created using acrylic and aerosol paint alternating with a total of 7 layers of epoxy resin.
Tod and Dot: Along the journey Tod meets another bunny named Dot. She’s also traveling in an enchanted air balloon and joins Tod on his Great Adventure. This piece comes as a 2 canvas set and has gold leaf foil inlays and is sealed in epoxy resin.
Singing Rod: Rod loves to bring joy to others with his songs. This piece was created entirely with aerosol paint and gold leaf foil sealed in epoxy resin.
Big Rod: Rod the Carrot is an enchanted carrot from the Great Hill. Rod met Tod at the top of the Great Hill and they decided to team up on his Great Adventure. This piece was created entirely with aerosol paint.
Trust Over Doubt Table: This piece was created on wood with acrylic and aerosol paint alternating between a total of 5 layers of epoxy resin.
Trust Over Doubt Illustrations: These illustrations were the original inspiration behind the “Trust Over Doubt” concept. Created while exploring colors and made with markers and aerosol paint.
Tod Throwie: A study in reverse painting, this piece was created with acrylic and aerosol paint on the inside of the glass.
Tod on Brick: This piece was created with pen and marker on paper. The small Rusto can replicas were handmade and create a unique 2D and 3D piece all in one.
